Wow. The time is going by so fast and we are so busy that I am not getting my blog posting done! There are only 10 days or so left of school for the guys and only one baseball game left. Swim team is going fairly well, though I am beginning to doubt that Andy will ever make it the entire length of the pool without stopping. Elias will go off the diving board, but no one else will.

Brigid and I are running every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning, beginning at 5:30am. We go two miles these days, with Brigid running one minute and then walking four, and I usually run the entire way (at the blistering pace of 14 minutes per mile). Oh well -- speed will come eventually, won't it? I hope so since I have a 5K race this Saturday at Sabino Canyon. The only bad part is the very intense hill about a quarter of a mile before the end of the race. It isn't going to be good. This is a picture of Sabino Canyon, to refresh your memory. I haven't yet bought a road bike, but I am thinking of doing that on Friday. Ron is off from work, so I will be able to go to the bike store by myself. It will be interesting -- the woman who owns the store picked out four bikes for me to choose from, ranging from $750 to $2500. Now, I am not going to spend $2500 on a bike. I just cannot justify that. But the mid-range bike is out of the running because Ron bought that one and I cannot get a matching bike. So, we will see! I will post a picture when I finally do it!
