We made it through the rodeo parade. There was the usual whining and complaining, but things went fairly smoothly. I have never seen so many horses in one place -- and mules, donkey, burros, and camels too. It was amazing. I don't think we will ever have to go again, but it was fun. In between the animals, there were several marching bands and even a bad marching band is good in a parade! The best thing about the parade was that there were no pooper scoopers in it --- at the end of the parade, a platoon of street cleaners, in arrow formation, came behind the last group and cleaned up the massive amount of crap that was left behind. I think the boys were more excited about the street sweepers than the horses.
