The sheer size of Sabino Canyon doesn't really come through on the pictures, but you can get some idea of the height of the canyon walls by looking at the people in the pictures. The 3.7 mile marker is the top of the trail. The rest of the pictures are looking down into the bottom of the canyon where you can see a little tiny stream in between the huge rocks.
