James is doing alright today. He is coughing a lot, but is generally in a good mood. He didn't sleep very well last night -- lots of coughing. I am very glad I took him in to the pediatrician. I hope he gets better quickly.

We went up Sabino Canyon today -- 3.7 miles each way. It took us 2 hours, 18 minutes round trip. As you know, I have walked up to the 3 mile mark before -- once. Little did I know that the final .7 miles would be a doozie. It was awful. It was about a 10% grade with lots of switchbacks; it seemed like every time I went around a corner, all I would see was several more curves I needed to go around. It was horrendous. It was much, much nicer going down. The scenery was beautiful and I could look down into the canyon and see a little stream at the bottom. I burned 1078 calories on this walk. I will try and take a few pictures from the top of the canyon next time I go so I can share the view. Maybe by next week I will have located the cable for my camera so I can download all my pictures.
