Andy and Elias had their physicals today. Dr. Cochran has pronounced them both very healthy. Andy weighs 71 pounds (97%ile) and is 53 and 1/4 inches tall (95%ile). Elias is 48 and a half pounds (97%ile) and is 43 and 1/2 inches tall (95%ile). There was only one issue to discuss today and that was Andy's difficulty with having regular bowel movements. We are now going to try sennakot twice a day and see how this works out. I am ready to try anything to get this situation resolved. Andy is also at that point.

On the way to the appointments, I had a brain fart of epic proportions and let my foot off the brake and bumped into the woman in front of me. No one was hurt, but it was not a good thing. I saw a tiny little nick in the paint of her bumper, but doubtless this will result in them getting a bunch of money from USAA and my getting a huge raise in my rates. I am bummed. Such a stupid thing to do... and I can't even remember what it was I was thinking about.

The other night, while most of the guys were at the Blue and Gold Dinner, James and I had some time by ourselves. Just to see what he would do, I asked him if he wanted to use the toilet. He hustled right out to the kitchen bathroom and stood by the toilet and waited for the magic to happen. It didn't, but he got to flush the toilet anyway, so life was good.

I am so glad I have swimming tonight -- I know I will feel much happier after an hour in the pool.
