Today I updated my Mother of the Year credential by doing a craft project with the guys. Yes, I know -- you are all stunned. Cousin Kate sent this tree kit last year and I thought we had done it, but I found it last week when I cleaned out the pantry, and I thought that the first Sunday of Advent would be a good day to do it. We had the usual assortment of disasters -- spilled royal icing, dropped royal icing, destroyed pyrex bowl FULL of royal icing (before any made it on to the tree, of course), but I think it turned out great!
