Monsoon season has arrived. What this means in Tucson is that around 5pm every night, it starts to pour and there is a lot of thunder and lightening too. One night this week, it was pouring in the backyard and completely dry in the front. It can be very spectacular. This week, we saw the coolest thing -- a rainbow around the sun. I looked around on the net, and found this picture (I wish I could figure out how to make it bigger so you can get a better idea of how it looked.). It was an amazing sight.

Tonight is the final swim meet of the season. I am so grateful. However, we have championships next week on Wednesday from 7am to 3pm. It is going to be a very long, hot day. I am hoping that I can get a babysitter so that I don't have to be trapped on the pool deck with James all day. That would really be the pits. The guys are doing great things in swimming and I will try to get some decent pictures tonight. Andy is finally starting off the blocks now and Elias usually makes it down the pool in less than 2 minutes, so there has been lots of improvement.
